The veil

How you arrive

Remain unknown to the street.

Be specific with the people you might love. Whom you will sit with, a household, a faith, an age: doors you close so a letter is not wasted. Never a score. The sky does not get these.

The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.
C. G. Jung
  1. A name you answer to

Not a legal name. A region, not a pin. Eyes, a picture of what you love, or sealed until a letter. A decade, not a birthday. No workplace. No last name. No GPS. Privacy as dignity, not as a game.

  2. Named, not ranked

Age, children, faith, the people you come from: these are how ordinary weeks actually go. You may name them. You may close a door. We will not rank by heritage. We will not infer it from a photograph. Default is everyone.

  3. Chemistry is encounter

You cannot checkbox a spark. You can say what kindles you: mind, language, body, humor, faith, craft. That is kindling. The letter is still the match.

How we hold a preference

A door, not a rank

  • Hard

    Measure, then a door

Who you will meet. An age you will sit with. A city or a region. Children, if you named a household. Faith, if you named a practice. Heritage, if you named your people. None of this enters the synastry score. If it cannot be re-run as a closed door, it is not Hard.

  • Living

    A preference is a life

People have histories, cultures, families, and bodies. Pretending this is not part of meeting is a lie. A preference named is kinder than a letter answered with nothing. Living is how a life is worn. It is not a diagnosis of a people.

  • Soft

    Not a marketplace

We will not sell a people, or infer one from a face. We will not rank by heritage. Chemistry is not a grid. The other remains free. If this is too slow, that is allowed.

Anonymous to the street. Honest at the table. The letter is the match. The doors are so it is not wasted.

Where it lives

Three rooms, no account

  1. The veil

The philosophy, then your door. How you arrive. Kept on this device.

  2. Begin

I am. I want to meet. How the window and the place arrive.

  3. Read a letter

Anywhere, or near me. Whom you will read. S. and L. arrive sealed, as a cipher, until a letter.
