How two people begin
Two people, only while both are in it. Before that, a letter. Writing does not need this room.
Two people can start without ever meeting.
When both are in it, that is a dyad. A reply is not required for your becoming. Private remains the complete state. If you want someone to read you, this is the law. Living receipt is not this closer. You may offer one page, and keep a page to give.
The process

Write
The page is listening. No account. Your pages stay in this browser until you choose otherwise.

Offer
Each writing stays in the house until you say otherwise. You may let one page be carried: a key you still hold. That is not a feed.

Knock
Toward, away, or rest. A knock is not a match. Three knocks. A door opens only if they knock too. Then answer a line they wrote. Forty words. Hey is not attendance.
4
Read
They see you if they have also written, and if both of you have offered. Either may rest, turn away, or stay in the letters for years. A street is optional. The sky waits.

One piece left available. Not a portfolio. A key you still hold.

Knock
You would be open to the person behind this writing. They may not knock. Reciprocity is not the proof.

Mutual
Both said yes. Then a line they wrote, answered. The conversation may open.

Sealed
A deeper letter stays theirs until both have said yes, and they choose to offer it. Time is UTC.

A letter first
The page is the room. Stay there until both of you have something true. A cafe is not required. A street is optional.

A public first meeting
Daylight. A place with other people. Tell a friend where you will be. Your home is not a coordinate. Leave your own way. Either may rest, turn away, or stay in the letters.

A cache, not a hunt
If you want a first meeting that is still a letter: a poem, a view, a bench both can reach alone. Geocaching as a date. The letter leads. Neither follows the other into a private room. Coordinates of a place, not of a person. No GPS trail in this house.
