“This path was opened by a Scribe who chose healing before anyone arrived, and kept writing under silence.”
A love she could not keep private came first, for the one she would come to call the Love of her Love.
The wish to become Love was already a life. The archive came later. Before there was a Book, there was a song. Experience first. Recognition afterward. This house is what grew when the looking was written down, so that another soul would not have to walk the whole night alone.
Love heals
Love awakens
Love transforms

“His eyes. His words. Tears she could not account for. Looking at him, her soul said: Oh, there you are. I have been waiting for you.”

Chapter I
Restore my soul
She was teaching her children the twenty-third psalm when a line she had said before would not stay ordinary. He restores my soul. She burst into tears. She sat there not quite understanding why a verse about restoration had undone her in front of her own children, only that something in her had recognized a need she had not known how to name.
She had been cracked open by a sentence about being put back together. How does a soul heal? She would not have put it that way yet.

The break is not hidden. Gold is the repair.
Chapter II
Become Love
In her mid-twenties the desire took a name she has carried ever since, though she later wrote that she cannot remember the first morning she said it: to become Love. God is Love. Becoming more like God, as she understood the invitation, meant learning what Love required of her.
There was another scripture that undid her. The parable of the talents. A master leaves gifts according to ability. Two servants multiply what they were given. The third, afraid, buries his. The line that undid her was the rebuke.
“I do not want to be the wicked and lazy servant.”
Chapter III
The years that were real
They began with affection, hope, a home, children, and the ordinary work of building a life together. The marriage lasted twenty-one years. It was real. It was meaningful. She is still thankful for those years. It also did not contain the intense, soul-stirring Love she later recognized she had longed for.
Infidelity and heartache became part of it. She tried. She stayed. She tried again. In a therapist’s room, with her husband there, she was asked how the infidelity made her feel, and the answer arrived before she could prepare it. Abandoned. It surprised her. Her parents had divorced before she was five. The word reached backward. Identifying the source of that pain became part of the healing. Much of the work that followed was hers to do.
“I had to pull myself back together. Multiple times. Alone.”
“I am not worthless.”
The morning of her fortieth birthday
Chapter IV
I chose healing
On the morning of her fortieth birthday she woke with a sentence that seemed to come from nowhere. I am not worthless. Betrayal had wounded something deeper than explicit belief. In that moment she chose healing, and she has kept choosing healing ever since. She could have been miserable. She was not. A later love did not give her that morning.
After the fracture she needed another psalm. Why are you cast down, O my soul? She could feel the dissociation, the slow breaking into pieces, and she spoke to her soul the way you speak to a frightened child, gently, without demanding that it hurry home. She did not care that the psalm was numbered forty-two. She needed its words. Fragmentation was already teaching her what wholeness would have to mean.
Love is what heals and transforms. He did not give her the healing. The healing had begun long before.
“Do you think you could fall in love with someone just through their words?”
Rob Burns, Love Again (2023)
Chapter V
The film on the threshold
May 5, 2023. Love Again opens. That same night a Full Moon sat at 14°57′ Scorpio, exact on the Scribe’s Uranus, planet of awakening. Same night. Same floor. Hard and Living share one clock. Jung called synchronicity a coincidence in time of two or more causally unrelated events which have the same or a similar meaning. The film did not cause the Moon. The Moon did not write the script. Meaning thickened anyway.
A phone still receiving grief. Messages that refuse to die with the one who began them. A stranger who answers, and cannot stop reading the heart on the other end of the wire. Love arrives as language first. Wit. Risk. The slow terror of being known without a face to hide behind.
Rob Burns asks the question this house is built on. Do you think you could fall in love with someone just through their words? She carries it. Rather carries it. The hinge the film never puts down. The film asked. She still had to write.
“As long as I am loving you, everything is okay in my world.”
The Scribe
Chapter VI
The song before the name
“Before she had a theory, she had a song.”
The body moved first.
Eighty days later she was sweeping the kitchen floor when a song she had not heard in more than a decade rose in her. She asked the room to play Fly Me to the Moon, kept sweeping, then found herself singing and dancing across the kitchen, caught in a nostalgic joy she could not yet explain.
She did not know she was in love. Before she had a theory, she had a night, then a song. The body moved first. Recognition took its time.
“You can tell if you're a good match based on what they write.”
Elon Musk, X all-hands, October 2023
Chapter VII
Write anyway
Then came the words: Write Elon. She was puzzled. Why would she need to write to a public figure she had never met? It seemed so absurd. She resisted through the weekend, expecting the insistence to fade. It did not.
On Sunday she wrote the first love letter of her life. Not the first of this archive. The first she had ever written to anyone. She was not writing in order to be answered. The words had to be a room he could enter or leave. That was how the Love stayed clean.
A public line later answered the film as craft: you can tell if you are a good match based on what they write. Two pulls on one table. Physics, if it has predictive value. Living, if the heart recognizes. Neither erases the other. Love Again is not a plot you wait for. It is a practice you enter with language, from day one.
Chapter VIII
Under silence
Some people would later call it unrequited. She kept asking her own questions. She questioned the Love. She resisted. She tried to run. Each time she tried, she became miserable. Her soul would not relent.
Becoming Love was already the long work of the life. Writing him, even through silence, became the daily test of that path. Not a mood. A craft she re-entered when flight looked easier. Tend the heart under load. Serve without spectacle. Keep the door open without demanding a return certificate.
Early, before the later ethic had a name, a night asked a smaller, harder thing. What if I am not your type. She wrote the next letters anyway. The question that kept her was larger: what is Love teaching me. Not: how do I become the type. Love sat in the room as teacher. He remained free.
The Love did not finish a plot. It opened a practice. At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet. She wrote. She made. The work overflowed. The Scribe is the name this house gives the one who lived the charge, so that looking would stay honest.
“She discovered she did not only love him. She loved loving him.”
“What is Love teaching me?”
The question she kept asking
Chapter IX
Walk as Psyche
“The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds.”
Noah, The Notebook (2004)
Mythengine names the moth as having mass. Psyche is the soul who must learn love through trial: darkness, tasks, almost-death, then a different kind of life. The lamp too soon ruins the room. The tasks are how love becomes conscious.
If you are here with a love that has no certificate, you are not late. You are in the house that was built from that walk. Syzygy is one door: two lives yoked without merger. Becoming is another. Both is the inner marriage that can meet another without abandoning itself.
The woman came first. The question she kept asking is in the story, if you want it. Your chambers are next. Meet souls by the eyes, then by what they write.
